In Xobin, creating an Assessment Stage within a track is a straightforward process that allows you to evaluate candidates effectively and efficiently. This article will guide you through the steps of setting up an Assessment Stage, linking an assessment, customizing the invitation message, and utilizing the AutoAdvance/AutoReject feature.

Step 1: Accessing the Track Creation Page

Before you begin, make sure you're logged into your Xobin account. If you're not familiar with creating tracks in Xobin, you can refer to our guide on creating a new tracks for an overview.

Step 2: Creating an Assessment Stage

Start by creating a new track or editing an existing one, depending on your requirements. Go to the last step of creating track stages inside a track.
Within the track creation/editing page, navigate to the "+ Add Stage" section.

A dialog box will appear, allowing you to set up the details of the stage. In this dialog, Enter the Assessment name and open the stage type drown-down and select Assessment to link an assessment to this track stage.

Step 3: Linking an Assessment

After selecting "Assessment," you'll be prompted to link an assessment to this stage. You can either select an assessment that you've previously created from your Xobin Assessment Dashboard or create an assessment from scratch right there.
If you choose to link an existing assessment, a dropdown menu will display your available assessments. Select the desired assessment from the list.

If you decide to create an assessment from scratch, follow the prompts to set up the assessment according to your requirements. You can refer to this article for creating test from scratch.

Step 4: Customizing the Invitation Message

Once you've linked or created an assessment, navigate to + Add Email message and enter the invitation message that will be sent to candidates. Craft a clear and concise message that informs candidates about the assessment's purpose, instructions, and any additional information they may need.

Step 5: AutoAdvance feature

The AutoAdvance feature allows you to automatically move candidates to the next stage based on specific criteria. This can streamline the evaluation process by ensuring that only qualified candidates progress.
To set up AutoAdvance, locate the "AutoAdvance" section in the dialog box. Choose whether you want candidates to advance based on the overall test score, section scores, or other criteria.
Define the criteria for AutoAdvance. For example, you can set a rule such as "Move candidates to the next stage if their overall test score is more than or equal to 40%."

Step 6: Save and Complete

Review all the settings you've configured for the Assessment Stage.
If everything looks accurate, click the Save button to add the Assessment Stage to your track.

Congratulations! You've successfully created an Assessment Stage in Xobin Tracks. Candidates will now receive invitations to the assessment, and their progress will be managed based on the AutoAdvance criteria you've set.
