How to save a section and use it anytime?
Xobin allows you to save your favorite and most used "skills sections" and reuse anytime when you create new customized assessments, there by saving your time 2x in assessment creation process. This article will walk you through on how to create a section with skills of your choice and reuse it whenever required.
1. Log in to Xobin:
Visit Xobin Signup Link and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to Assessments:
After logging in, go to the Assessments tab.
Click + Create New Assessment and select Create from scratch to start a new assessment, or select an existing one to customize by clicking the Edit Assessment icon to add more sections.
3. Start creating assessment with your first section:
The assessment creation builder window will open.
Name the Assessment at the top. Then, create the first section by clicking the + Add Section button. Select skills from the left navbar and name each section according to the skills or topics you want to assess.
Once you've added skills to your section, you can:
Select the number of questions for each difficulty level.
Set a timer for the section.
Set a cut-off score.
Enable other assessment settings as needed.
4. Name and save the Section:
Your first section is now ready with the relevant skills, number of questions, timer, and other settings.
To save the section, click the bookmark icon on the top-right inside the section to save it.
Once you click that icon, you'll see a modal to give a name to your section. Here, either you can retain the same name or edit the name as per your choice.
Press the Save button to bookmark your section.
Once bookmarked, either you can launch the assessment by clicking Create Assessment or simply close the modal if you don't want to create a test at that point of time.
5. Using a Saved Section:
Go to Assessments tab. Click + Create New Assessment and select Create from scratch to start a new assessment. Then, on top-left, go to "My" tab.
Under "My" tab, you'll be able to see Sections and Templates. Go to Sections and on the left, you'll be able to see the saved sections. To use one, simply click on the section name.
Here, you have three options:
To update the section with any new skills and then use it in your assessment. Click on the Pen Icon near Use Section to add new skills. Press Update to save the changes.
If you want to simply update your section with new skills without using it in an assessment, you can do that as well. You can press Update to save the skills and simply close the assessment modal.
Directly use the original section by simply clicking Use Section without making any changes.
After pressing Use section the section will be added in your assessment. Press Create Assessment to launch your test.
Steps to a Save a Section in an Assessment:
