How to handle camera or microphone permission issues?
A working webcam and microphone are required for proctored assessments. On encountering permission issues, follow the steps below:
- Grant Permissions via Pop-Up
- When prompted, click Allow to grant camera and microphone access, then click Continue to proceed.
- If No Pop-Up Appears — Option 1
- Click the lines icon on the top-left of the Chrome address bar.
- Toggle on Camera and Microphone access.
- Click Continue.
- If Still Not Working — Option 2
- Manually enable camera and microphone access from the address bar.
- Refresh the page once.
- Enable via Browser Settings
- Go to Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings.
- Find
xobin.comand set Camera and Microphone to Allow. - Refresh the page.
- Enable via System Settings
- If the issue persists after the above steps, go to your System Settings, locate the camera and microphone settings, and enable access for your browser.
