How to create an assessment using Automated Test Builder?
Xobin provides a robust platform dedicated to the creation and execution of assessments for evaluating candidates, employees, or students. This guide is specifically tailored to walk you through the process of creating an assessment swiftly using an automated builder instead of creating it in a manual or traditional way.
1. Log in to Xobin:
Visit Xobin Signup Link and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to My Assessments:
After logging in, go to the Assessments tab.
Click + Create New Assessment and select Create from scratch to start a new assessment.
3. Start creating an Assessment with your first section:
The assessment creation builder window will open.
Click on the pen icon on the top to name your Assessment. Then, create the first section by clicking the + Add Section button.
Type the keywords or skill name in the search bar on the left navbar and name each section according to the skills or topics you want to assess. Click on the Pen icon to name each section.
Once you've added skills to your section, you can:
Select the number of questions for each difficulty level: Click on the Quiz button of a skill name inside the section. A modal with different difficulty level will pop-up where you can select the number of questions according to each difficulty level. Press Save once you've edited your choice.
Set a timer for the section: Click on the field where a default time appears. Press backspace and simply type any time of your own choice. Remember that the default time you see is crafted by our experts based on difficulty parameters - A meter on timing for each Easy, Medium, and Hard questions for each question type.
Set a cut-off score: Click on the Cut-Off button and use the range bar to drag to the percentage of your choice.
To add more sections, click + Add Section and follow the same steps: add skills from different skill domains, set the timer, and adjust other settings as needed.
5. Save the Assessment:
Once you’ve created and customized all sections, kindly do a proper review once and press Create Assessment to create and save the assessment.
Then, follow the next steps to setup descriptions, set-up registration form if required, enable proctoring settings and launch the assessment.
Your assessment is ready and live in your dashboard.
