How to Create Tags or Groups for Assessments?
Using Tags in Xobin Assessments allows you to easily categorize, search, and manage assessments based on topics, job roles, departments, difficulty levels, or any custom criteria you define. Tags act like folders or labels — helping you keep your assessment dashboard organized, especially when managing a large number of tests.
Tagging and grouping assessments helps you organize and manage them efficiently. By grouping assessments under relevant tags, you can:
Enhance searchability by quickly locating assessments based on specific tags or categories.
Apply bulk actions more efficiently, enabling faster operations across multiple assessments at once.
Simplify reporting and filtering
Ensure better test discoverability for your team
There are two easy ways to add tags to assessments:
Go to the Assessments section from the left menu.
Under each assessment card, click the “Add Tag” button. Enter your desired tag name, then click “Add [Tag Name]”, followed by “Save” to create and apply the tag.

To bulk tag, click on the checkbox next to an assessment from where you want to start the tagging with.

Once selected, a bulk tag checkbox will appear at the bottom of the page — use it to select all assessments.

After selecting the desired assessments, click on the “+” (plus) button that appears.

A modal window will pop up with a list of available tags. Select the appropriate tag(s) from the list. Click Add Tag. The selected tag(s) will now be applied to all the chosen assessments.

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on any assessment card.

Scroll slightly in the dropdown and click “Add to Group”.
A list of your existing tags will appear — simply select the one you want to assign.

Click Save button to make the changes.

Note: If you mass tag assessments, these tags will automatically reflect in the Test Settings section and will be shown under “Group Part Of”.
To remove a tag:
Simply click the ‘x’ icon next to the tag name displayed under the assessment title.

A confirmation message will appear: “Assessment(s) removed from group(s) successfully!”

This allows you to clean up or reassign assessments effortlessly.
By effectively using tags and groups, you can streamline your assessment management process, improve organization, and save valuable time. Start tagging today to keep your assessment dashboard clean, searchable, and effortlessly manageable.
