What is proctoring and how to enable webcam proctoring?

Proctoring is a technology which aids in remote assessments. It is a feature that allows a test to be taken from any location, wherever the candidate has a computer and a high-speed internet connection. Invigilating via a combination of technologies such as monitoring software, video images prevent the candidates from indulging in any undesirable activities.

Xobin online assessment software allows users to monitor candidates their activity right from the moment they start the test, till they finish. For this purpose, the webcam proctoring feature is available for every test. To enable it,

First create the test for which you want to assess the candidates. Test creation can be either of your own or you can use the pre-built tests available in the "My assessments" tab of dashboard.

Once you have dropped the test in your dashboard, please select the 3 dots at the end of the test.



A modal will be opened with all the test settings and on the top, you could see "Proctoring". Please click the toggle to enable or disable it. Just a click away, it's on.






Press "Save" at the end of the modal for the changes to reflect.
