How to switch off Browser Monitoring / Off tab Activity?

Xobin allows you to disable the off-tab tracking feature based on your assessment needs. This can be done in three ways: through the assessment settings, while creating a new assessment, or while editing an existing one.


  1. Log In to Your Account


  1. Navigate to the Assessments Tab
  • In the sidebar, click Assessments.


  1. Method-1 : Via Assessment Settings
  • Select the required assessment and click the three dots icon next to it.



  • Go to General.
  • Under Toggle Settings, toggle off Off-Tab Tracking.
  • Click Save in the bottom-right corner.



  1. Method-2: While Creating a New Assessment
  • Click + Create new assessment in the Assessments tab.



  • Select Create From Scratch.



  • Click + Add Section.
  • Click Off tab Enabled to disable off-tab tracking for that specific section.
  • Click Create assessment.



  • Configure the name, description, registration form, and other proctoring settings. To disable off-tab tracking for the entire assessment, go to General Settings and toggle off Off-Tab Activity Tracking.
  • Click Launch Assessment.



  1. Method-3: While Editing an Existing Assessment
  • In the Assessments tab, click the edit (pen) icon next to the required assessment.



  • Click Off-Tab Enabled on the relevant section to disable it.
  • Click Save assessment.
