How to switch off Browser Monitoring / Off tab Activity?
Xobin allows you to disable the off-tab tracking feature based on your assessment needs. This can be done in three ways: through the assessment settings, while creating a new assessment, or while editing an existing one.
- Log In to Your Account
- Go to https://app.xobin.com/signin
- Sign in with your credentials.
- Navigate to the Assessments Tab
- In the sidebar, click Assessments.
- Method-1 : Via Assessment Settings
- Select the required assessment and click the three dots icon next to it.

- Go to General.
- Under Toggle Settings, toggle off Off-Tab Tracking.
- Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

- Method-2: While Creating a New Assessment
- Click + Create new assessment in the Assessments tab.

- Select Create From Scratch.

- Click + Add Section.
- Click Off tab Enabled to disable off-tab tracking for that specific section.
- Click Create assessment.

- Configure the name, description, registration form, and other proctoring settings. To disable off-tab tracking for the entire assessment, go to General Settings and toggle off Off-Tab Activity Tracking.
- Click Launch Assessment.

- Method-3: While Editing an Existing Assessment
- In the Assessments tab, click the edit (pen) icon next to the required assessment.

- Click Off-Tab Enabled on the relevant section to disable it.
- Click Save assessment.
