How to create Criteria-based AI-Subjective Questions?

AI evaluation questions help assess human-like cognitive abilities such as communication, critical thinking, and domain expertise. With criteria-based evaluation, you can define what you’re looking for, and Xobin’s AI will score responses accordingly—making it ideal for both technical and non-technical scenarios.



  1. Navigate to My Questions
  • Go to the Library tab from the top bar, or select My Library from the sidebar under General.
  • Click on the My Questions tab.




  1. Create a Subjective Question in a New Domain
  • In the My Questions tab, click Add Domain.
  • Enter a name for your domain and click Add Domain.
  • Select the domain you created.
  • Click the Create Question dropdown and choose Create Subjective Question.




  1. Create a Subjective Question in an Existing Domain
  • Click Create Question at the top-right corner.
  • Select Create Subjective Question.
  • Choose your preferred domain from the Domain dropdown.




  1. Configure Question Settings
  • Select the difficulty level.
  • Choose the response type: Text, Video, Audio, or Code.
  • Set the minimum and maximum word limits (default: 0–1500 words).
  • Under Evaluation Type, select Xobin AI Evaluate.



  1. Enable AI Evaluation Options

You can enhance evaluation with the following options:

  • AI Response Verifier

Detects whether a candidate’s response is AI-generated or original (recommended for text responses)

  • Communication Checker

Evaluates English proficiency along with domain expertise (recommended for video responses)

  • Criteria-based Evaluation

Automatically scores responses based on defined criteria



  1. Create and Generate Evaluation Criteria
  • Enter your question in the Add Question field.
  • Click Generate Evaluation Criteria.



  1. Review and Edit Criteria
  • AI-generated criteria will be displayed.
  • Click Edit to modify them or add your own.
  • Use Regenerate to create new criteria if needed.



  1. Save Your Question
  • Click Save Question to finish.
  • Or click Save and Add Another to create more questions within the same domain.
