What is an Assignment Mode?

Assignment mode is an open-book test mode that allows candidates to navigate outside the platform while completing their assessment. In this mode, questions are task-based and require candidates to complete an assignment. Responses must be prepared externally and uploaded as a file.

KEY FEATURES:

Flexible Navigation

  • Candidates can move in and out of the platform to work on their answers.

Browser Monitoring

  • Browser monitoring is disabled in Assignment mode, allowing candidates to use other applications.
  • Off-tab tracking can be enabled or disabled independently.
  • If Proctoring is enabled, off-tab tracking should also be enabled.

Uploading Answers

  • Candidates must click the Upload Answer button to submit their responses.
  • Answers should be prepared and uploaded in a file format.

Uploading Multiple Files

  • Multiple files should be combined into a single ZIP file before uploading.
  • It is recommended to compress even a single file into a ZIP file for consistency.

Download Template

  • Candidates can download a predefined template by clicking "Download Template File".
