How to Enable Advanced Proctoring in Xobin Assessments

Advanced proctoring is a feature in Xobin that enhances the security and integrity of online assessments by monitoring test-takers' activities. It includes tools such as facial recognition, screen monitoring, and activity tracking to ensure that the assessment environment is secure and that candidates are following the rules. This feature helps prevent cheating and ensures that the assessment results are a true reflection of the candidate's abilities.



Step 1: Navigating Assessment Details:


  • Log in to your Xobin account using your credentials.
  • Navigate to the Xobin Assessment Section from the left navbar




Step 2: Access the Configuration Settings

  • Clicking on 3 Dots beside the assessment will open a new tab go to Toggle Setting
  • Ensure that you enable all the Toggle Setting
  • Make sure to Save it




  • Webcam Recording: Clicks snap of the candidate periodically.
  • Absentee Monitoring: Checks if candidate has blocked their camera or left the seat.
  • Multiple Face Detection: Checks is more than 1 person is present in the test background
  • Device Detection: Checks presence of visible/partially visible phone, book or TV Screen.
  • Screen Recording: Records the complete screen of the candidate
  • Eye Tracking: Records if the candidate is excessively gazing away from the monitor.
  • Audio Recording: Records the Audio via microphone while taking test.
  • Secure Browser: Get a dedicated exam browser that blocks all external applications.
  • Real time Live Proctoring: Humans to monitor small batches of candidates in real time.


Check Your Plan:

  • Webcam and Off-Tab are available for all customer.
  • Advanced proctoring features may only be available on certain Xobin plans. Ensure that you are subscribed to a plan that includes these features.
